Learn more about Skunk Meadow-rue from the Vascular Plants of North Carolina.
The name T. revolutum is illegitimate, as de Candolle cited T. pubescens Pursh in synonymy when he named it; it must be replaced by T. amphibolum Greene, per Weakley's Flora (2023).
The species is normally stipitate-glandular or papillose, but can be glabrous. Read more in Weakley's Flora (2023).

If a search such as "Carex leptalea var. leptalea" doesn't deliver the results you want, try "Carex leptalea".
Or, to minimize chances of a misspelling, try just "Carex le".
Less is more: If "pencil flower" doesn't deliver the results you want, try "pencil".
